After 1 week of wearing my Vibram Five Fingers virtually every non-working moment, I give them 2 thumbs up, including CityWalk in the rain.
First day or two, my feet hurt and were tired. Although they warn that that’s normal in the FAQs. My feet got used to actually working.
I agree that they don’t look normal. But I could give two sh*ts about what people think I look like. Different is good, plus they’re comfy!
I’m beginning to think that Apple is the new Microsoft, only with quality products. I’m one disenchanted fanboy. *sigh* http://bit.ly/vdbMq

Although I do admit that never being around the parks at work means that I enjoy being in Park even more! Before I worked away, but visited.
